Job Description;

Responsibilities:

Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and delivery activities
To enter all the delivery notes for all items into SAP
Inspect all the returned containers and report any damages
Control demurrage by issuing containers using the LIFO or FIFO method
Enter all outgoing delivery details into the system by Bill of Lading
Assist in reconciling customer accounts
Coordinate with the transporter to ensure that they plan and organize the movement of goods by ensuring that you have enough trucks whenever needed.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow.
Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations.
To recommend measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance.
Continuously improve warehouse operations
Gather reports from different departments, compile and send it to your supervisor
Conduct regular meetings to ensure that there is enough communication
Perform any other jobs as may be assigned from time to time

Skills and competencies:

- A bachelor’s degree in Warehouse Management
- Conversant in Warehouse Management System
- 3 years or more experience in related field
- Excellent Management skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good communication skills to deal with customers and managers alike
- Even temperament to deal with difficult customers
- Should be good at multi-tasking
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in team environment.
