Experience
Seven year’s working experience in middle/Senior Management positions in Sales in FMCG

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science; Education and/or other related discipline
A minimum of ten years of professional experience in development or an academic organization
Experience in planning and implementation of education programs on a large scale
Experience in direct program implementation at field level
Excellent leader with experience building and managing strong teams including leading and managing teams
Ability and desire to travel within the country frequently (about 30-50% of the time)
Proven track record of achieving results independently and as part of a team

Collaborate with key partners to promote, inform and build support for Malaria, and Essential Drugs commodities logistics interventions.
Work with other JSI Tanzania staff to develop and implement a strategic plan for Malaria,and Essential Drugs commodities and logistics system interventions, including developing and advancing technical/quality standards, guidelines and tools related to project and country work.
Liaise with JSI  Director of Procurement and Director of Demand planning management  to monitor health commodities under the PMI framework
Coordinate and  work with national counterparts (NMCP, PSS, MSD, etc.), USG and other implementing partners  to identify weaknesses and areas that need support in the logistics system affecting commodity availability
Advise national counterparts on how best to address these weakness identified
Coordinate and work with other technical team staff  to identify needs for improvement of current LMIS tools,
Conduct annual quantification and biannual  quantification review of malaria commodities
Estimating the cost of required commodities.
Coordinating & conducting quarterly physical inventory of malaria at MSD.
Participate in identifying financial resources to meet commodity requirement  and
Supply chain financing needs.
Updating Pipeline database for malaria commodities regularly, PipeLine analysis and monitoring in-country supply levels including following up shipments on order to insure they arrived on time.
Updating supply plans in the PipeLine quarterly and submit the updated supply plan for procurement on time
Suggesting packaging or supply chain modifications to improve patient and users adherence.
Spend a considerable amount of time in the field, gathering data and addressing logistics system problems.
In consultation with Directorate of quality assurance of MOHSW (NMCP) organize commodity review meetings with MSD and key stakeholders for information sharing and consultative decision on quarterly basis
Coordinate with PSS and NMCP team lead  to organize supportive supervision at service delivery points for commodities under NMCP
Participate in meetings organized by NMCP and other key stakeholders addressing commodity availability covered under NMCP and share but not limited to the following:
1. Facility reporting trend
2. Discrepancies in order/resupply quantities
3. Policy decisions affecting performance of the logistics systems
4. Quantification updates and potential stock out
Develop a team-specific quarterly work plan in collaboration with team members. The work plan should include planned activities, timing, detailed budget and monthly cash flow projections,
Work with quality assurance and delivery coordination to ensure timely delivery and to ensure quality products are delivered
Coordinate and work with other JSI  staff to build capacity of team members ,
Oversee and ensure completion of all tasks whether he/she is present or not,
Coordinate with the Office Manager to ensure availability of needed supplies (stationery, projectors, etc.), and reserve vehicles for local and long distance travels,
Share monthly reports to his  supervisors in a standardized manner
Submit reconciled expense vouchers on a timely basis.
Participate in the recruitment process for other technical staff, as needed.
Prepare Shipment Planning for all Global Funded commodities, order processing for  VPP and facilitate  timely delivery/clearance of the GF commodities specifically ACT and MRDT
Share Quarterly stock status reconciliation with batch numbers( MSD physical count v/s E9 data) and share with GF
Prepare report on  stock status at facility levels for sharing with  Grant Management Unit of Ministry of Finance
Preparation of Performance Update and Disbursement Request ) and report to Global fund Local Funding Agency
Prepare smart PUSH on behalf of NMCP for donated medicines and as situation arise for other commodities and share with MSD.
prepare the requisition for procurement of malaria commodities, CPIR
