Job Description:


Act as an administrative assistant to the Director (correspondence, appointment scheduling, planning, etc.)
Prepare and maintain minutes of weekly staff meetings
Support the Director in the coordination and follow-up of smaller projects
Travel management (purchase of domestic and international air tickets, hotel and vehicle booking).
Coordinate mission for incoming visitors, head office staff etc.


Nationality, Age
Age 28+


Master (in social science preferred)
Bachelor in Business Administration and/or MBA
Very strong communication skills in English (written and spoken (IELTS 7+)


Min. 5 years working experience in administrative tasks, thereof a minimum of 2 years as senior secretary
Experience with an international employer or foreign mission is a must
Work experience in the development sector would be a strong advantage

Other skills:

Excellent ICT skills, well versed in working with Ms Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
Excellent communication and typing skills (English and Swahili)
Very good organization skills; through knowledge of modern office procedures and practices
Analytical skills and able to meet deadlines while remaining organized and accurate
