IRC seeks to recruit qualified, energetic and committed candidates to fill Operation Supervisor

Specific duties:
a. Supervise Kasulu based Supply Chain Assistant and Makere based Operations officer by monitoring their performing, conducting performance evaluations, recommending their training needs..
b. Guidance Supply Chain/Procurement Assistant in all , procurement of supplies requested in Kasulu, ensuring  they are  delivered in time
c. Review all reports prepared by Procurement/Supply Chain Assistant for accuracy and in compliance with acceptable formats before submitting to Programs and Supply Chain Coordinator.
d. Establish maintenance systems and procedures for assets. Distribute quarterly asset reports created from Prologs.
e. Monitor PRs submitted to Supply Chain, ensuring they are being processed and Purchase orders are raised on time; ensure suppliers are paid immediately after submitting  invoices.
f. Liaise with Dar office, Immigration offices Kasulu and Kigoma to ensure availability of  permits for IRC visitors who did not enter through Dar


Degree/ in Management/Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) or five years experience in Supply Chain Management; good presentation; excellent written and spoken English and Kiswahili; and strong computer skills.
Should have experience in working with international NGOs; good organizational, diplomatic and reporting skills; and be able to work under pressure.
Excellent cross-cultural skills; prior experience working in a multi-cultural environment is an added advantage.
