Submit recommendation to Security Manager for need of security enhancement or improvement.
Implement access control procedures and all security related policies that has been advised by NBC.

The Government of Tanzania is looking for Consultant as International Project Manager Country Study on Illicit financial flows from Tanzania
The international project manager will report directly to the project steering committee in the Bank of Tanzania and will be allocated office facilities and administrative support in the premises of the Bank of Tanzania.

Job Summary:

As the economy of Tanzania grows, including extensive extraction and utilization of natural resources as well as expanding sectors with international connections, it is becoming a challenge to ensure that the levels of capital flight ( both licit and illicit) are limited. The Government of Tanzania has decided to carry out a project to produce the first in depth study of illicit financial flows. It is expected that the project will produce a country report, database, policy and administrative recommendations and build awareness on the processes by which illicit financial flows take place, together with estimates at the national level overall and areas of the economy.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

International experience with macroeconomic analysis and policy advice, and possibly a background in tax/trade/crime/corruption issues Management level knowledge of public accounts, econometric and statistical work
International project administration capabilities
Work experience in the above mentioned fields from Africa and/ or other developing regions ideally in the field of illicit flows or capital flight or tax evasion and mispricing
Contract
The contract can either be a resident contract for up to 2 years duration (2014-2015), or a retainer contract with agreed minimum time spent in Tanzania over the period ( from January 2014) through extended stays in country and availability on line and conferencing facilities to enable the leadership of the project.

Job Description:
The Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI) was established by the
Act of Parliament No.2 of 1996.The Institute: is a semi-autonomous organization which operates at "arm's length," under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The Institute has various roles which all stem on the main role of controlling Cancer in Tanzania.

Direct Entry Qualifications

Holder of Doctor of Medicine Degree or its equivalent from any recognised institution who has completed internship and registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
He/ she must have at least six years working experience in health fields.

Duties:

Perform routine medical services for in-patients and out- patients;
Perform daily ward rounds and prepare patient case notes;
Participate in major ward rounds;
Perform all investigations for patients
Participate in morning clinical sessions, CMEs and journal clubs;
Train and educate pupils and students from primary and secondary schools;
Conduct research and produce reports;
Participate in development of research proposals and its implementation;
Undertake outreach programs;
Supervise junior doctors and interns in their medical duties at the institute;
Ensure prescribed instructions are carried out;
Participate and conduct clinical teaching of medical doctors, Interns and medical students and other allied health professionals;
Perform any other duties as shall be assigned by his/her superior.

The Association of Private Health Facilities in Tanzania (APHFTA) is a Non-Governmental Organization that exists to serve as a public forum for the private health sector and provide a comprehensive array of advocacy, administrative, knowledge-sharing and networking products and services to the private health sector. APHFTA is dedicated to improving the quality of care and services in the Private Health Sector in Tanzania.

APHFTA is seeking to recruit a Social Franchising Officer who will manage a Social Franchising project aiming at improving the quality of care delivered by the Private Health Sector, with a focus to Maternal and Child Health services, Cervical Cancer and HIV / AIDS. He/ She will oversee the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of a comprehensive quality/performance improvement program in private health facilities participating in the Social Franchising program. Reporting to the NCD Project Manager, this position is a national recruitment and will be based in Dar es Salaam and on open ended contract basis and will involve significant travel.

Specific Responsibilities:

Participate in developing and planning for the Social Franchising project with support from other project staff and partners
Participate in developing project budgets as per the project proposal
Provide training and technical support to APHFTA members in the quality improvement program
Monitor the implementation of quality upgrading plans in the facilities participating in the program
Develop monthly, quarterly and annual project reports
Participate in setting up project targets and indicators and support in updating the indicator tracking tools regularly
Coordinating between the project's internal and external interfaces
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Public Health or any health equivalent health related field
Advanced Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Medicine/ Nursing or equivalent degree will be an advantage
At least 2 years experience in the relevant field with some experience of working in performance improvement/quality management position
Ability to work with several facilities and partners with a focus on achieving a common goal Communication and interpersonal skills for frequent contact with internal and external stakeholders of the APHFTA to persuade and negotiate on matters of relevance to the project
A good understanding and experience in project management and working towards achieving project's objectives
Leadership skills, including demonstrated willingness to pursue leadership roles with increasing levels of accountability
Good Computer skills in MS excel, Word, PowerPoint, internet etc

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and implement business processes tied to the Risk Management mission and objectives.

Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Banking, Accountancy, Finance etc
Good analytical skills or experience in preparation of various Risk Management Reports for the Board and various Committees of the Board
Excellent skills using spreadsheets, experience with Accounting software packages and Risk Management & Compliance related.
Candidates should have at least 2 to 3 years experience in Bank/Financial institutions in the relevant field.
